Policy Toolkit

What to expect

By combining wide-ranged data and mixed methods we will bring the most robust andcomprehensive evidence-base to an innovative co-production process (including policy-makersand stakeholder-partners). This way we will develop a policy-toolkit on childcare that helps families andcommunities,  can be applied locally, and scales nationally.

This Policy Toolkit will encompass atypology of the childcare needs of different groups, identifying particular problems faced withinthe current policy guidelines. Specifying these gaps will enable policy-makers to formulatetargeted policies that support protected groups thus adding value to a wide range of governmentinitiatives to tackle Covid-19. It will provide guidelines and implementation pathways for local stakeholders, community groups and partnerships for designing high-quality local childcare solutions grounded in robust evidence of lessons learned from earlier practices.

When?

The Policy Toolkit is likely to be published by the end of the summer 2021 so please bear with us while our research progresses.
